Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Subrogation Attorney to manage a caseload of litigated and non-litigated property subrogation matters. This role involves researching facts of loss, collaborating with external consultants and experts, and providing strategic recommendations to clients. The Attorney will conduct discovery, draft motions, and participate in mediations and settlement conferences.
This position offers the opportunity to work directly with our founding attorney and experienced paralegal/administrative staff in a supportive, team-focused environment. No billable hours are required, and the position is fully remote for candidates based in California.
Responsibilities:
• Manage litigated and non-litigated property subrogation cases
• Conduct research, draft motions, and prepare discovery
• Work with external consultants and experts to build strong cases
• Attend mediations, settlement conferences, and negotiate resolutions
• Provide clear recommendations and strategic advice to clients
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience
• Proficiency with motion work, written discovery, and negotiations
• Experience in claims handling, underwriting, or insurance coverage is a plus
• Must be licensed to practice in California
